A quick removal

Well, I must say I was getting a bit nervous as I hadn't been out of the belt at all for 8 days and I was wondering how some of my skin was doing, especially the parts that I'm not able to see. I did take the belt off for about 5 minutes today to do a quick cleaning and I'm happy to report that my skin is fine, there were no real foul smells or anything so I guess I didn't really have to remove the belt, but I figured I should at least check, to be on the safe side.

Also, one of my main irritations as of the last day or two has been some of my pubic hair growing back. Mainly, the stuff growing under the front shield of the belt. I was able to get a razor in under the shield this morning in the shower. It wasn't the greatest, but I was able to pull up enough on the shield to do a quick shave. When I took off the belt for cleaning this afternoon, I noticed that I had got most of the hair, but not all of it, especially around the base of the penis. I did take the quick removal as an opportunity to do a good shave, and now things feel a bit better. I was getting a bit of redness due to the irritation, but now that I've shaved, applied a good dose of A&D Cream, things feel much better.

Could I have worn the belt longer without removing it? Sure. However I'm a bit worried that if I didn't, I might suffer some nasty rashes and or broken skin which would require time off from the belt to let the skin heal. At least the belt is back on, I didn't "cheat" while it was off, for those of you who were wondering. I am thinking that I'll probably need to do a weekly cleaning and mainly shaving to really achieve full long term wear. But, so far so good, I'll probably keep it locked for another week now at least.

Sunday Report

Well, now it truly is official, I have made it a full week in the belt, that's right, 7 full days. I know those of you who have worn one for a long time are probably laughing, but seeing as I've only had the belt two and a half weeks, I think this is great.

In the last week I technically did not remove the belt. I did however move the position of the penis tube up one notch, making the crotchband just a little tighter. This seems like a more comfortable setting, as the belt is actually more comfortable if it's snug fitting. On the other setting, it was just a little too loose. Granted, it was still tight, and there wasn't a way to get out, but this feels a little better. To do this, I only had to unlock the crotch lock, I kept the waistband locked, and I did not remove my penis from the tube to do this adjustment. I think this is looking good for long term wear. Everyday, the belt seems to become more comfortable, it's like it's molding to my skin.

I did take some steps for hygiene this weekend, I did take a full bath both days, and I have a detachable showerhead, so I was able to really give a good stream of water into the underside of the tube. It doesn't seem to smell at all, and it looks like its staying clean, so I don't see a reason to remove it yet. Only minor irritation that I'm finding is that the pubic hair under the front shield is getting a bit itchy. I am always shaved, and now that's its been more than a week since I last shaved (haven't gone this long without shaving in years) some of the hairs are starting to be a little irritating.

Other than that, so far so good.

Made it a week

Well, almost a week. I did officially make it a full work week in the belt without having to unlock it for any reason. The last time I unlocked it was on Sunday, and I wore it to work every day this week. I am glad to say that even at this point, I can see no reason to unlock it, so I won't.

Wearing it to work is actually no problem whatsoever. Sitting at my desk, walking around, driving, all pose no problem at all. The belt truly is invisible under regular clothes. For the record, I am generally wearing a shirt/tie & trousers to work, and really it's no problem. Going to the bathroom, again, not a problem although for obvious reasons I can't use the urinal. It's amazing how quickly one get's used to checking a stall to make sure that there's toilet paper, which is necessary to clean up. Thankfully, I haven't had to go #2 during work, but even that function has become quite easy, and I'm sure that if the need were to arise, it would not be a problem whatsoever.

As for cleaning, so far, it seems to be staying pretty clean. The belt does come with a cleaning syringe (it's nothing special, you can get one at any medical supply store and some pharmacies), and there is a small hole just big enough for the tip of the syringe to go through on each side of the penis tube. I only use the syringe at home, and I do about three or four full syringes of water through each hole after each urination. That seems to be doing the trick.

Anyway, I know there's lots of guys that go for a lot longer at a time in their belt, but I've only had mine for about 2 weeks, and I think it's pretty good that I was able to go a full week after the first week. I'm not sure how much longer I'll keep it locked, so long as everything is fine, I don't see any real reason to unlock it.

Underwear choices and more

Hey everyone, I hope all is well. Things are pretty good here, wore the belt to work the last two days, in fact it hasn't been removed now for over 72 hours and still going strong. I was asked a question by one of the readers of this blog (note: I love the questions and I'm always more than happy to answer them, so please comment with a question if you have one.) Anyway, the question was where do the testicles sit, and do I wear underwear.

As for where the testicles go, they sit on either side of the tube, but generally stay behind the front shield. It's not uncomfortable at all really, though sometimes only one goes on the side, and the other one kinda hides, but again, you really won't feel it. I will say that although the balls lie behind the front shield a bit, the belt should in no way be considered to offer protection like an athletic cup, it's not meant for that. What the front shield does help with is keeping the testicles close to the body so that they don't get crushed by my thighs or anything, plus it helps keep the whole package more secure. Actually, keeping everything closer to the body is the main reason that I chose the total model over the ergo-slim, or whatever they call the one that's basically just a tube, with no additional frontal protection. As to whether the belt permits access to the testicles, the answer is yes. The model I bought was not designed to restrict access to the testicles, so it is possible to touch and play with them. My guess would be if you need a belt that would prohibit access to the balls as well, then you would need to go with the untouchable model, or perhaps the transformation model.

Also, I want to take a moment to talk about underwear choices and why. I'm sure some people out there would say why wear underwear when you are wearing steel. Well, I have found that wearing underwear is absolutely necessary for several reasons. One of the main reasons is that moisture can cause chafing. A good pair of cotton briefs will help absorb moisture. Also, a pair of snug fitting briefs will get in between the front shield and your skin, which makes chafing less of an issue and makes walking around quite a bit more comfortable. I would say that if you are planning on wearing boxer shorts, you won't get much benefit. My feeling is that the best underwear is regular cotton briefs. These would seem to offer the best absorbency and coverage.

Another main reason to wear underwear is that even with great wiping after urination, a few drops will remain in the tube, plain and simple. For me, it's actually been a bit of an issue, especially after using the cleaning syringe. I've had a few instances where after I pull my pants and underwear back up, and sit down, the back of my pants get a small wet spot. This is not something that I want to have to deal with, so I have started to wear a pad in my underwear. I've been using the depend guards for men, as they seem to offer a good level of coverage area. This probably isn't really necessary, but it's something that I'm doing, especially during work to make sure that I don't have any embarrasing leaks.

One other thing that I've been doing is wearing underwear where the waistband of the briefs is the same color as the lining of my belt. I chose the black lining for my belt, and as luck would have it, most of my briefs have a black waistband (I wear briefs, but not like traditional tighty-whitey stuff, I prefer something a bit more fashionable than that, though admittedly some of my briefs are white.) Anyway, I was checking it out in the mirror and having underwear that has the same color waistband as my belt makes wearing the belt more discreet. If the waistband of the briefs ride down just a bit, all that will show is a little more black, not something else. Not a big deal, but it makes me happy.

Possibilities of Anal Sex with belt

Well I did give it a try today, sort of. I was in the mood to get out one of my dildo's and see how it would work being belted and all. One of my questions was whether this belt with the continuous crotch band would allow anal sex, meaning being penetrated. I had assumed that it would be difficult, but not impossible, and I was correct. In the interest of scientific research :) I tried using a dildo that is pretty realistic, with balls attached to it. In terms of shape, it's pretty much an anatomically correct version of your average man, not anything huge. Plus, this one had the balls on it, so I figured that would give a good representation as to how far it would allow penetration.

For obvious reasons, a normal person's balls would not fit through the anus hole on the belt, so this will cut off the possiblity of full penetration, by about 2 inches, but penetration is possible. So, the verdict on this would be that the belt prohibits full penetration, but allows partial. Figured I'd let you all know that.

Belt Choice - Part 2

In the last post I touched on a lot of the reasoning behind my choice of belt. There are a few things that I missed, mainly why I chose my choice of rear style and penis tube, so that's what I'm going to talk about in this post.

I know there are a lot of different opinions on which rear style is best, and I think different ones work better for different people. I am not saying that my choice is best for everyone, but mine works for me and I'll go into why I chose the one I did. For the most part, there are three different rear styles out there. There are the traditional chains, that go around the buttocks, the thong style (simple rear cable) and the continuous crotch band with an opening around the anus. I chose the latter option, the continuous crotch band with the anal opening.

Ok, my decision was really between the thong cable and the continuous band. I didn't really want the chains, mainly because I thought that they would be somewhat more visible under clothes and not so comfortable. Plus, they seem to me to be more of an antiquated option, and it seems more people are opting for the thong or crotch band, and I've heard of good reviews of each. My main reason for going with the continuous crotch band was due mostly to the fact that I don't find regular thongs to be very comfortable. I only own one pair of thong underwear, and I don't like the feeling of it, so I went with the continuous crotch band.

I know one of the issues for consideration for some people may be whether the rear option would prevent anal penetration. This wasn't a main concern for me, I don't really care wether or not I have access to putting anything in there. From what I can tell, with the chains option, anal sex should be possible, whereas with the thong style, it would be quite difficult if not impossible for one to receive anal sex. With the continuous crotch band, I think it would technically be possible to receive anal sex, but it would likely not be all that good for the top, and would most likely prohibit full penetration.

So, I would say that the model I got, while it wouldn't completely prevent anal sex, it would make it rather difficult. Maybe I'll try using one of my "toys" later and see how it works, but I'm not in the mood to do that right now. I will say, if access to your anus is important, the chains style would probably be the best for you, if say your keyholder wants to have easy access, though I can't really comment as I haven't tried. My assumption is that the thong style would prevent access, and the continuous band would make it difficult.

As for comfort, the continuous band is quite comfortable, it fits nicely, and it probably makes the belt a bit more rigid than the other options, though it doesn't prevent me at all from bending, lifting, sitting, whatever. So far, sitting on my couch, in my car or at the office is fine. Hard surfaces are a little less than comfortable, but not a big deal. I can imagine that sitting on hard bleachers at say a sporting event might be a bit of a pain, but I never really do that, so no big deal to me.

The other main decision was which penis tube to get. With this one, my decision was a bit more hasty, though the penis tube on these style belts are not built in and are easily interchangeable, so if I wasn't happy with the one I got, I could get another one without having to send the belt back to Germany for a retrofit. My-Steel offers two options, open end and closed end (with drain holes of course) and two sizes. I ordered the larger size with the open end. The reason I ordered the larger size was that I didn't want it to be too tight, and therefore uncomfortable, though I think I'd be fine with the smaller one.

Now on to the question of open or closed tube. My reasoning behind getting the open one was 100% due to hygiene. I intend to wear this belt long term, eventually with limited openings, and I want to make sure that it is easy enough to clean. I will say that with the open tube, it is possible to touch the very tip of my penis, though that's about it, and I doubt I could get enough stimulation to orgasm. Also, the open one does allow the urine to completely drain out, which is good, and when I shower, I can get a good amount of water up in there to flush it out a bit, using a removable showerhead of course, which is a necessity for anyone wearing one of these belts. Right now, I am happy with the open tube, essentially it was a tradeoff of security for hygiene. Since it's not possible to masturbate at all in this thing, I think I'm OK with the open one for now, though I may change it at some point in time.

And of course, color of the belt. I think My-steel is the only one who offers a choice of colors for the lining of the belt. I'm boring, I went with the traditional black, though I've seen a few in blue and that looks good. One of the main reasons that I went with black is that almost all of my normal underwear is either black, or has a black waistband, and I figured this would blend in better. Not a big deal really. I obviously wasn't going for pink, not my thing, and I didn't care much for the yellow. I figured the black would be fine and it is.

I didn't order any D rings, though maybe I should have. I don't have anyone to lock cuffs to them at this point, so I didn't get them. I also didn't opt for the travel system, since I don't do a lot of air travel or anything like that

Why I chose this belt

One of the reader's of this blog asked me why I chose this particular model belt, and I think that's a really good question, so I'm going to take a few moments to elaborate on why I chose this particular belt, and selected the specific options that I did. Hopefully this might help some of you who may be wondering what options to buy and help guide you in the right direction.

First off, my decision came with quite a bit of research. Some of you probably know that while I'm only in my mid 20's, I'm not new to chastity belts. I've been reading about them for years on the various pages that are out there, and I owned (gave it away) a CB-2000, and I also currently own a cb-3000. I think most people who are getting into chastity these days start out with one of these devices. The CB line is acceptable, but I always knew I wanted something more. I'm serious about chastity so I wanted a belt that is the real deal. Basically, male chastity belts break down into two categories, the trapped ball devices and the full belt model (excluding lori's tubes, which I hear are pretty good).

I always felt that security and comfort were lacking in my cb-3000, so upgrading was the right decision to do, and yes, I am quite happy about my decision, the My-Steel is everything I expected it to be and more.

First off, why did I go with My-steel? Well, I wanted a full belt, that's a given. In terms of the full belts, there are several styles out there. There are the Florentine Style ones, made by My-steel, Neosteel, Tollyboy, Lockedinsteel and William Jones. Then there is the Carrara/goethals model, which is a bit different, and lastly the Reinholds and Latowski models, which are very different, the latter two I believe require a custom fitting, which for me would require a trip to Europe.

Anyway, I've seen lots of pics of guys wearing belts, read countless reviews and spoken with several full belt wearers. My conclusion was that for my body type (yes, I'll admit, I don't have washboard abs, though I am trying, currently have a few extra pounds on me - I'm not like morbidly obese, or anything close to that, just I could stand to lose a bit of weight.) From what I can see, although I really like the Carrara concept model, it seems their belts would do better for a more slender person due to the way the belt rides over the hips. I had seen many pics of guys with my body type wearing florentine belts, so I figured if they can do it, I can do it. I will say I would someday love to have a Reinholds, but the my-steel certainly does fine for now.

Ok, now for why My-Steel. I had narrowed it down to between Locked In Steel and My-steel. Both seem like excellent options. The reason I went with My-Steel versus locked in steel was due to the fact that the My-Steel was about $150 less expensive, and it was adjustable, which is important to me. The plus of the Locked in steel would be that I live close enough to have a personal fitting. In the end, My-Steel won. I will say that for those of you that are looking at the My-Steel pricing page, it can be wrong if you live outside the European Union. On their main page, all prices include the 19% European VAT Tax. However, for those of us who do not live in the European Union, we are not charged this tax. That's a 19% savings, and that's nothing to sneeze at. To compare, with shipping included and factoring in the exchange rate, I paid $798 US Dollars, whereas a comparably equipped Locked In steel belt would have cost $950. Also, Neosteel I believe is even more expensive, and I don't care for the way Tollyboy's or William Jones belts look.

About the various options I chose. Due to my body type, I chose the hip model. I didn't feel that a waist model would be comfortable, so I went with the hip model. I think most people are choosing this option anyway. Also, I went with the ergonomic waistband, but not the super-ergonomic. I did want the added comfort of the ergonomic band, and I'm happy with the decision.

Now, as for why I chose the model I did, well, My-Steel offers a ton of different models. This is the classic tried and true model, which is why I chose it. People have been making and wearing belts of this style (I got the Total Model) for years. Yes, I'll admit, I love the look of the untouchable, I've heard some good things about the ergo-slim, and the heavy line looks really cool, but I'd wonder about how practical it would be. Also, I didn't care for the transformation model, I'm not a sissy or a she-male, so no need for me to get a belt that disguises my genitals.

Anyway, the traditional model is offered in two formats, the "Comfort" and the "Total" The only difference between the two models that I can see is that the Comfort model is adjustable at the waist and penis tube positions only, whereas the total is adjustable in three ways, waist, penis tube and crotch band length. The downfall of this added adjustment is the need for a second lock for the crotch band. This is not an issue for me, but I know it might be for some people. Like I said, I wanted adjustability, and that's why I ordered the total model.

Ok, this post is getting long winded, I'll explain the other options in another post, probably in just a few hours time.

First Time Wearing to Work

Well, I finally did it. I wore the belt to work. Actually, I wore it a half day yesterday, as I went home in the afternoon and put it on. I wore it all night, through the morning, and everything was fine so I figured what the heck.

And I can say, it was no problem whatsoever. I probably drove about 50-60 miles today running around, again no problems there. Met with clients, sat at my desk, all without issue. I'm very glad that I'm able to do this. I'll probably wear it to work again on Monday, and of course I'll wear it this weekend. So far, everything seems to be fine.

Back in the belt

I'm back in the belt, after a two day hiatus. I think the pressure probably caused a few of the sore spots that I was noticing. I don't think this was anything major, and I don't think it reflects any issues with the belt. My best guess is that it is just my body getting used to the presence of the belt.

Anyway, I did a bit of shaping to the belt. The main thing I did was bend the front shield a bit so that it sticks out a bit as opposed to it coming straight down, which makes the penis tube dig in a bit less. I think that was one of the main problems, and I did know that I would need to do some bending at some point in time, so we'll see how this works. Also, since I noticed a few pressure spots around the waistband, I did loosen that one notch, now I'm at the second from the largest setting, though I really feel that I should have it one tighter, I'm going to go easy for now.

I'm going to wear it overnight, but it needs to come off tomorrow due to the fact that I have to go through a metal detector tomorrow. I know this is the second time this week, but it is a very rare occurrence for me to have to go through one, so hopefully I won't have to again for a while.

Still off

I'm going to take one more day off from the belt. I also noticed a few sore spots that were most likely caused by the wasitband around my hip. I'm not sure if this was caused from not drying under the waistband properly, or just pressure. Anyway, when I put the belt back on, I think I'm going to try for one notch looser, so long as that still feels ok.

Taking a rest from the belt

Well, I had to take the belt off. Well, I didn't really have to, it wasn't hurting or anything, but I figured I'd take it off as I was going to be pretty active in sports on Sunday. I did notice a few sore spots around the base of my penis, but nothing major. I figured it was the tube digging in a bit, which it does. Anyway, I put it back on yesterday evening, did some bending to alleviate some of the pressure on the base of my penis, and it did feel more comfortable. Anyway, I had to take it off this morning as I needed to go through a metal detector today (I'm not even going to attempt that), and the sore spots are still there. So I'm going to take the day off from wearing the belt and sleep unbelted tonight. Once I'm healed, it will go right back on. Hopefully I'll be back in it tomorrow or Wednesday. Still, not too bad for a first try with it.

Wearing of the belt

I guess I'm posting a lot to begin with probably because I'm finding out a lot about this belt, and I want the info out there for anyone else who might be considering getting one of these belts.

Anyway, I will say that the belt is quite comfortable, it's actually more comfortable than it looks, which is difficult to describe, but it's kind of like a second skin. Movement isn't really restricted, I did go for a quick run yesterday, and I mean a short one, as I'm not a runner, and no problems. I did sleep in my belt the very first night I got it, and that was with no issues at all. I think it's actually more comfortable to sleep in than the cb-3000, which is surprising. Also, no pain from morning erections as the testicles aren't used to anchor the belt.

As of now, I've had it on for about 38 hours continuously, including two nights, without interruption during the day. It's probably going to come off in a little bit as I'm going to be participating in strenuous sports later today and I'd prefer to do that un-belted at this point. Again, it's fairly comfortable, I've had to tighten the waistband one notch, and I believe I'll need to tighten the crotchband one more notch as well, which I'll probably do later when I put the belt back on after sports.

Yesterday though, I had my first foray into wearing the belt out in public, under clothes of course and it went well. I have checked and checked and checked again, and even I cannot notice it under my regular pants. I don't wear tight fitting clothes, but I do wear regular type things. Yesterday, the clothes of the day were a sweater and a pair of chino's. The waistband of the belt rides just a smidgen below where I wear my pants, so with my pants belt nice and tight, no issues with waistband showing, though I did wear an undershirt under my sweater, tucked in. I will say, I was pretty paranoid, but my fears proved to be pretty unfounded. I doubt anyone thought anything was out of the ordinary. I did a bit of walking around, I went to a community event since I like to be active in my community, and then did my grocery shopping, stopped for gas, went to the bank, all basically the mundane errands we all have to do.

I'm happy to say, that my daily activities posed no problem at all. Even driving wasn't all that uncomfortable, and my car is pretty low to the ground, plus it's a manual, so even shifting wasn't a problem. I did however make sure to obey all traffic laws, and I found myself driving a bit more defensively and safely, which I'll consider that to be a good thing, much better to arrive safely a minute or two later than not at all.

Dealing with toilet functions

Ok, I'll start off this post by saying that if you are squeamish or the description of bodily functions disturbs you, click the back button now. I want to take a few moments now to describe how toilet functions, urination and defecation work. First off, urinating is quite easy, it's not a problem at all. There are holes in the bottom shield of the belt to allow the fluids to quickly pass. Only thing I've found here is that there is a chance of a few last drops remaining in the tube, which surprised me the first time, so I make sure to stand up over the toilet and shake a bit to get the last drops. As long as I do that and give a quick pass on both the inside and outside of the belt, I'm good to go. Of course it goes without saying that peeing standing up is out of the question, but I don't consider that to be a big deal at all.

Now on to the other function. This is quite a bit more difficult. I ordered the style belt with the continuous crotch with the eye hole at the rear, and I will tell you that it makes going #2 a bit of a challenge. The first morning, I had the urge to go, so I figured I'd give it a try as I gotta get used to doing it. I'll spare the details, but it was mess... literally. I was able to clean up, and I took a shower afterwards, but the clean up took a solid 20 minutes, not counting about another 10 minutes in the shower.

The next morning, I figured I would try to do a better job at lining up the whole with my anus, and it worked a little better. It was still a bit of a mess, but much improved over the first morning. Also, I remembered I had some baby wipes, and I used these. I strongly recommend using them (though get the un-scented ones, otherwise you'll get that "new baby" smell.) I still had to shower, but it was a lot better, a lot more of it got in the toilet this time and not stuck inside the belt.

This moring though was the third attempt, and Success!!! Here's how I did it. I pulled up hard on the front shield, spread my cheeks, and made sure the anus ring was very tight around the skin around my anus and that it was centered. Given the first two attempts, I was wondering if I had measured wrong and had the hole made too far to the rear, but if I really pull up on the front shield, it does center the hole, thank goodness. Anyway, I do this, let 'er rip, and success! It all makes it into the toilet, nothing on the belt at all. It still takes a bit more toilet paper than being unbelted, and a couple of baby wipes, but I did it successfully.

I had been worried that I wouldn't be able to defectate away from home, as in public places, it's not possible to take a shower afterwards, but after this morning, I'm confident that if the need presented itself to me, that I could do it in a public toilet with little issue. I did not need to take a shower after the movement this morning, though I did anyway as I needed to take my morning shower for other reasons, not related to the belt. Also, when I was at the store yesterday, I picked up a travel pack of wet ones, kind of like a travel pack of baby wipes, and I'm keeping them in my car's glove box just in case - always good to be prepared.

First Impressions of the Belt

Ok, let's go back to about 5:15 pm last Wednesday. I have got the belt at home and I unpacked it from the box. I take it out of the box, which it is packed pretty well with packing materials. The belt is all put together, locked with keys in the lock. It comes with two keys which are the same as the locks are keyed alike, and there are instructions in the box as to how to put the belt on.

I read through the instructions, got the lock off of the waistband portion and I put it around my hips. I will mention that there is a trick to getting the locks on and off, it's actually somewhat difficult the first time as they need to be slid off at a specific angle because the tolerances are very tight which is a good thing. Anyway, I got the waistband on, there are several sizing options, I believe it can be at nine different lengths, which gives a range of about four inches, which is pretty good. I was able to get it on at one notch larger than the middle one. I will say, this makes the whole wearing of the belt not quite symmetrical, but its fine. Now I have it at exactly the middle setting, which I'm happy about because that means that if I lose weight (which i need to lose some) I'll be fine and if heaven forfend I gain anymore, I'll still be OK.

Anyway, with the waistband in position, the next order of business is getting the crotch band installed. To do this, I needed to pull it up from between my legs and slip my penis into the tube. It's not too difficult, but you need a bit of muscle and dexterity to do this. Anyway, the crotch band was locked at the middle setting. This was slightly too small. I will mention that there are three settings for the crotch band and an additional three places to position the penis tube, totaling 9 different options if my math is correct.

I detached the crotchband lock and move it to the loosest setting, while keeping the penis tube in the middle setting. This would allow me one looser setting than this. Anyway, I re-attached the waistband, again one notch looser than the middle and pull the crotchband through, slide the penis in, and pull up towards the waistband. Success! It fit's and feels fine. Now, to lock this thing on. This again requires a bit of dexterity as you slide the hole of the crotchband over the locking post and then add over it a metal locking plate and try to fanagle the lock through it. This requires a bit of practice and trial and error as you need to keep the locking plate very tight, which isn't easy. Also, the lock needs to be at a specific angle to get it in. I have a full length mirror which helped. Finally, it's locked on!

The fit is excellent. Obviously it's going to take a bit of bending and such to get used to it, but it fits, its comfortable and man is this thing secure. There is absolutely no possible way to pull out of it, unlike the cb-xxxx series devices. The fit is quite snug, but not uncomfortable at all.

More info to come shortly.

The ordering process - Second Entry

After I took the measurements, I filled out the order form that they sent me and e-mailed it to My-Steel. There is a slot on the form for each measurement so that you get it right. They then promptly e-mailed me to confirm that they had received the measurements and that they were going to start production of the belt. This was around February 1st or so. They told me that it would take about 3-4 weeks to produce the belt. This is absolutely acceptable in my mind as this is truly a custom piece and it definitely looks like a lot of work went into producing the belt.

Around February 20th or so, which was about 3 weeks time, they sent me an e-mail to let me know that the belt would be shipped the following week, and they did in fact ship the belt. They sent me an e-mail saying that the belt was shipped via German Post and then by United States Postal Service and provided a tracking number. I never got much from the tracking number, as USPS really doesn't do much more than confirm delivery.

Fast forward to March 11th, about two weeks after they shipped the belt. I took the very rare occasion to go home for lunch, and I checked my mailbox and in the mailbox is a notice from my post office saying that I had a package that needed to be signed for, and it would be at the post office ready for pickup tomorrow. Well, I was impatient, so after work, I went down to the post office right around 5:00pm to see if perhaps the letter carrier had already dropped it off at the post office. They had, and I was able to pick it up. I actually didn't need to sign for it, but it wouldn't fit in my mailbox, obviously and they did not leave it so that's why I had to pick it up.

One thing that worried me about this was what if there's the custom's label saying that it's a chastity belt, would the person at the window see something on a content's label that said "chastity belt?" This worried me a bit, as I live in a small town and I go to the post office usually 2-3 times a week and I know both of the ladies who work the window. Thankfully, there was nothing on it marking what was in the box, just the address, a return address with a person's name (the person at my-steel, I won't say what the name is, but just a regular name and address, it does not say My-Steel.) Also, no label on it aside from a sticker saying that it had been X-ray checked at customs. Whatever, so some guy at customs in New York City might have got a glimpse of what was in the box, I can live with that.

The shipping from Germany to me took just slightly less than 2 weeks, again this is with standard shipping, not express. That's pretty good time in my opinion as it usually takes about a week when I have stuff sent to me from California. This is from Germany, had to go across an ocean, through customs, and finally to me. Not bad at all.

So, to put it in perspective in terms of total time to get it, I ordered it on January 25th (a Sunday) and received it on March 11th, a Wednesday. Right about a month and a half. That is absolutely excellent service in my opinion.

The ordering process - first entry

Hey everyone,

This post here is about the entire ordering process, so any of you who are considering ordering one will know exactly what to expect.

First off, communication with My-Steel is EXCELLENT! All of my e-mails were replied to within 24 hours. Also, they communicate very well in English, which is important because about the only thing I know how to say in German is how to order a beer. As long as you understand that English isn't their first language, and take time to read twice, you will have no problem whatsoever. They are very helpful. I would say if you have any questions, feel free to e-mail them, you will get prompt responses for sure.

To give a timeline, I placed the order on a Sunday, January 25th, if I'm not mistaken. They order an express shipping option for an additional cost, but I did not opt for the express, just the standard. One thing to expect, my credit card company called me on Monday morning asking to verify the charge, as I guess it raised a red flag when someone who normally only uses his card to buy gas in the northeastern US, makes an $800 charge online to a german company. Of course, there was no indication really as to what the payment was for, the charge comes up on your credit card as "wwwmysteel" or something like that. I told my credit company that the charge was legitimate and thanked them for watching out for me, and the charge went through.

That evening, I have an e-mail from My-steel with measurement instructions. If I still have them, I'll post them so you can see them. The instructions are very detailed with pictures of live models - no drawings or stick figures here. I was able to measure this myself using a leather belt, flexible tape and a full length mirror. I took the measurements several times a day over several days. A few of the measurements didn't quite match, but there was one set that I was able to get several times and this is what I used. There isn't really a need to get fitted in person or have a partner measure you, but I would assume that would be easier, though this wasn't too especially difficult.

I'll post a follow up in a little while to try and avoid the "text wall" phenomenon.

Introduction

I am going to start a blog about my recent acquisition of a My-Steel Chastity belt. There isn't a lot on the net about these yet, so I'm going to share my experiences with it.

Anyway, a little about me, I'm currently 25, from the United States. I've been interested in chastity ever since I found out these things existed back in the 90's, when the internet was in it's infancy. I've owned a cb-2000 and a cb-3000 in the past, and while they are OK, I always wanted something better. Now, I have it.

I finally took the plunge and ordered a My-Steel total belt with the ergonomic waistband and continuous crotch band. This is the model that is adjustable in the waist, crotch and placement of the penis tube, and aside from the adjustability of the belt, it is similar in concept to the Neosteel belt, which has been on the market for years. My-Steel is a relatively new manufacturer, but they have an extensive product line.

That's my intro, the next post will be about the ordering process. I don't want to say how often I will update this blog, it will more be as I have something to say about it, so check back often.
